WP Ghost is tested and compatible with over 1,000 WordPress plugins and themes. It does not physically change any files, so most plugins work without issues. This page lists every plugin we have specifically tested and verified.

How WP Ghost Compatibility Works

WP Ghost does not physically change any path or file on your server. All path changes happen through server rewrite rules that only affect how browsers and bots see your URLs. Plugins, themes, and WordPress core continue to access files from their original locations internally. This is why compatibility with other plugins is generally excellent.

If a plugin you use is not on this list, it does not mean WP Ghost will not work with it. Compatibility challenges typically only arise with cache plugins (which serve pre-built pages that may contain original paths), page builders (which may hardcode admin-ajax.php paths in their editors), and other security plugins (which may modify .htaccess or interact with the login process).

Safe Mode is compatible with virtually all plugins. Ghost Mode (Premium) may require testing with plugins that hardcode wp-admin or admin-ajax.php paths.

Cache and Performance Plugins

WP Ghost is optimized to work with all major caching and performance plugins. If custom paths do not appear in cached pages, enable Change Paths in Cached Files in WP Ghost > Change Paths or try changing the Plugin Loading Hook.
