Does WP Ghost Support Cover All Connected Websites?
This tutorial has moved to the new WP Ghost Knowledge Base where each feature is presented in detail.
Yes. Support covers all websites connected to your WP Ghost account as long as you have an active Premium subscription. There is no per-site support limit. Whether you have one site or the maximum allowed by your plan, you can request help for any of them. Support is provided directly to you, the account holder, not to third parties like your agency’s clients.
How Support Works
When you purchase a WP Ghost Premium plan, priority support is included for the duration of your subscription. You can submit support requests for any website connected to your account, whether it is your own site or a client site you manage. The WP Ghost team typically responds within 24-48 hours during business days.
Support is tied to the account holder, not to individual websites. This means you are the point of contact for all support requests. If you run an agency and install WP Ghost on client sites, your clients cannot contact WP Ghost support directly. You handle support on their behalf, or you direct them to the WP Ghost Knowledge Base for self-service troubleshooting.
For Agencies Managing Client Sites
If you install WP Ghost on multiple client sites, you remain the single support contact for all of them. This keeps communication streamlined and avoids confusion. Two features make agency management easier:
White Label. The Whitelabel option lets you rebrand WP Ghost with your own plugin name, logo, and menu icon. Your clients see your brand, not WP Ghost. The plugin still connects to WP Ghost’s update server and your account for licensing, but all visible branding is yours. The Knowledge Base link can also be customized to point to your own documentation. See the Whitelabel in WP Ghost tutorial for setup details.
No token required for clients. When you use the Whitelabel feature, the plugin automatically connects to your WP Ghost account. Your clients are never asked to enter an activation token or interact with any licensing steps.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens to support if my subscription expires?
Priority support is only available with an active subscription. If your subscription expires, the plugin continues working on all connected sites (it reverts to the free version with 115+ features), but you no longer have access to priority support. Renewing the subscription restores support immediately.
Can my clients contact WP Ghost support directly?
No. Support is provided to the account holder only. If your clients need help, you can either assist them yourself or direct them to the WP Ghost Knowledge Base. With the Whitelabel option, you can customize the Knowledge Base link to point to your own documentation instead.
Is there a limit on the number of support requests?
There is no fixed limit on support requests. You can contact support for any issue on any connected site. Response time is typically 24-48 hours during business days.
Does WP Ghost modify WordPress core files?
No. WP Ghost uses rewrite rules and WordPress filters. No core files are modified on any site where the plugin is installed.
